理解しておきたいこと
Basic steps for resting attention on the breath without trying to empty the mind.
Breath meditation uses the feeling of inhaling and exhaling as an anchor. You do not need to control or change the breath; simply notice how it is occurring in the body.
実践方法
Choose the clearest sensation, such as air at the nostrils or the rise and fall of the abdomen. Count one to five if useful, then return whenever attention drifts.

If breath feels uncomfortable, shift to sound, feet on the floor, or an open-eyed gaze at a fixed point.
よくある質問
Where should I begin?
Choose the clearest sensation, such as air at the nostrils or the rise and fall of the abdomen. Count one to five if useful, then return whenever attention drifts.
What if I only have a little time today?
Use the smallest possible version, even if it is only one minute. Keeping a small appointment with yourself is often more useful than waiting for a perfect window.
Do I need to do it perfectly?
If breath feels uncomfortable, shift to sound, feet on the floor, or an open-eyed gaze at a fixed point. The aim is to notice and return, not to create the same experience every day.
