알아둘 점

Choose a pace that supports the text, your breath, and your attention.

A fast or slow wooden-fish rhythm should serve the text and the practitioner’s attention. Faster rhythms can create energy, while slower rhythms leave room to hear and breathe; neither is inherently better.

수행 방법

Start slowly enough that you still understand the words and do not hold your breath. Increase very slightly for a short passage, then compare your focus and tension at both speeds.

When practicing alone, choose the tempo that keeps you present. In a group, the shared rhythm comes first.

자주 묻는 질문

Where should I begin?

Start slowly enough that you still understand the words and do not hold your breath. Increase very slightly for a short passage, then compare your focus and tension at both speeds.

What if I only have a little time today?

Use the smallest possible version, even if it is only one minute. Keeping a small appointment with yourself is often more useful than waiting for a perfect window.

Do I need to do it perfectly?

When practicing alone, choose the tempo that keeps you present. In a group, the shared rhythm comes first. The aim is to notice and return, not to create the same experience every day.
